1. Grinding machine processing

5. Precision cutting machine thimble processing

The thimble on the mold is broken or worn, and it needs to be replaced and processed with a new thimble of the same specification, and a precision cutting machine will be used. Processing the length of a thimble should be the easiest thing.

 

Without a precision cutting machine, grinders and grinders or fast wire plastic machining may be used. Familiar with the disassembly and replacement of related grinding wheel cutting discs, the clamping of thimble, the use of jigs, etc.

 

6. Polishing and grinding machine operation

Some parts of the mold cavity have a large welding repair amount. You can first use a polishing machine to hold the grinding rod to rough repair the points, and then use electrode discharge machining or without electrodes and no graphics, some can only rely on polishing and grinding machines manually repair.

 

7. Punch forming machine processing

The punch forming machine is used to grind the outer shape of cylindrical parts. If the grab pin of the three-plate mold on the mold is broken or the forming pin is deformed, this punch forming machine can be used.

 

8. Argon welding or laser welding repair

The damage of mold parts is nothing more than welding repair, inserting, re-preparation treatment, argon welding and laser welding repair have their own advantages. Many mold repairs will be equipped with argon welding machines, and there are fewer laser welding repair machines. If the mold repairs can be repaired by argon welding or laser welding, there is no need to go out for argon welding or laser welding, which can greatly shorten the time for mold repairs. And cost.

 

9. Manual polishing

Some small barbs or crushing of the mold cause scratches or strains on the appearance of the product. Or there are bad marks and rust spots on the mold, which affect the defects of the product surface. Then, the series of polishing actions such as diamond paste, sandpaper, and oil stone must be mastered by mold repairers.

 

Sometimes a file may be used. The file depends on the skill of the hand. It is difficult to master the skill of repairing the mold with the file without a certain time of tempering. Without sufficient equipment and conditions, sometimes only relying on manual skills to make up for it.

 

10. Mold maintenance

After the mold is produced or in production, it is indispensable to clean and wipe the parting surface, apply oil on the guide post and the sliding block, and a series of cleaning and inspection actions. Mold maintenance is the basic skill of mold repair personnel, simple disassembly and cleaning, oiling and maintenance.
