The heat dissipation system test application now uses the test bench of Dongfeng Behr Automotive Radiator Company that uses this test system as an example to describe the working process of this system in detail. The performance test of automobile radiator is mainly carried out according to JB2293~1978, and the test content mainly includes three items: heat dissipation performance, wind resistance, and water resistance. The user can set the parameters of the working condition control point by himself, and the execution mode of the test working condition parameter collection and control is computer automatic/user manual. According to the above-mentioned basic principle diagram, the design of the test bench test system. The test bench is mainly composed of air duct (including fan), circulating water circuit and measurement and control device. The fan draws air to form a uniform air flow in the air cylinder to flow through the test piece. The circulating water path sends the hot water in the heating boiler to the test piece. When the air flows through the test piece, it takes away part of the heat of the hot water, thereby reducing the water temperature. The system automatically adjusts the heating power or fan speed to quickly achieve thermal balance under different working conditions. By measuring the test parameters under various working conditions, the standard heat dissipation and resistance characteristics of the test pieces can be obtained to evaluate the performance of the radiator.

Data collection The data collection points are set in accordance with national standards and combined with the actual conditions of the test bench. Wind speed, wind temperature, wind resistance, wind pressure and wind speed are measured by a Pitot tube flow meter, including a Pitot tube and a micro-pressure sensor. The test piece is placed at the center of the cross section of the test section, and all air flowing into the air duct passes through the test piece. The air temperature includes the inlet air temperature t (℃) and the outlet air temperature t. Since the temperature field does not change much, a single Pt100 thermal resistance meter is used to place it in the center. Since the airflow passes through the radiator, both the temperature field and the flow field are greatly disturbed. The application of the universal test system on the automotive radiator test bench is to evenly arrange four Pt100 thermal resistance thermometers along the axis to obtain the average wind speed.
