Working principle of slow wire processing

Slow wire walking, also called low-speed wire walking, is a kind of CNC machining machine tool that uses continuously moving fine metal wire as an electrode to pulse spark discharge on the workpiece to generate a high temperature of over 6000 degrees, ablate metal and cut into a workpiece. The principle of wire processing is the phenomenon that there is a gap between the wire electrode and the workpiece, and the metal is removed by continuous discharge. Since the slow-moving wire cutting machine adopts the method of wire electrode continuous feeding, that is, the wire electrode is processed during the movement, so even if the wire electrode is worn out, it can be continuously supplemented, so it can improve the machining accuracy of the parts and slow the wire. The surface roughness of the workpiece processed by the cutting machine can usually reach Ra=0.8μm and above, and the roundness error, linear error and dimensional error of the slow-moving wire cutting machine are much better t

How Do Cnc Swiss Machines Work

How Do Cnc Swiss Machines Work Save 0 What Is Swiss Machine –The full name of the walking CNC lathe, it can also be called the spindle box mobile CNC automatic lathe, the economical turning and milling compound machine tool or the slitting lathe. It belongs to precision machining equipment, which can complete compound  machining such as turning, milling, drilling, boring, tapping, and engraving at one time. It is mainly used for batch  machining of precision hardware and special-shaped shafts. This machine tool first originated in Germany and Switzerland. In the early stage, it was mainly used for precision machining of military equipment. With the continuous development and expansion of industrialization, due to the urgent needs of the market, it was gradually applied to the  machining of civilian products; the development of similar machine tools in Japan and South Korea Earlier than China, it was mainly used in the military industry in the early days. After the war, it was gradually

Spring Design Attention And Roll Forming Method

Spring Design Attention And Roll Forming Method The coiling characteristics and methods of springs are divided into cold coiling method and hot coiling method. Cold winding method: When the diameter of the spring wire is less than 8mm, the cold winding method is adopted. High-quality carbon spring steel wire is usually first cold drawn and then heat treated. After winding, it is generally not quenched, but only tempered at low temperature to eliminate the internal stress during winding. Hot-rolling method: Springs with larger diameter (>8mm) spring wire should use hot-rolling method. Hot rolled springs must be quenched and tempered at medium temperature. The Design Process Of Various Springs ·          Installation space: When designing a  compression spring , it is necessary to have a clear understanding of the space required for the installation of the spring, in order to effectively grasp the basic manufacturing conditions of the compression spring, including the outer diam

What are the parts of CNC machine?

Tip: This article may be long and take some time, but it will be useful and fun.

Hello, everyone. This is China Solution. I'm very glad to have you read our knowledge content.Today we are going to introduce the knowledge points are:What are the parts of Cnc Machine.

Before introducing the parts of CNC machine, let's first repeat what is a CNC machine.

What is Cnc Machining?

CNC machining is a term commonly used in manufacturing and industrial applications. But exactly what is CNC? And what is a CNC machine?

CNC 101: The term CNC stands for 'computer numerical control', and the CNC machining definition is that it is a subtractive manufacturing process which typically employs computerized controls and machine tools to remove layers of material from a stock piece—known as the blank or workpiece—and produces a custom-designed part. This process is suitable for a wide range of materials, including metals, plastics, wood, glass, foam, and composites, and finds application in a variety of industries, such as large CNC machining, machining of parts and prototypes for telecommunications, and CNC machining aerospace parts, which require tighter tolerances than other industries. Note there is a difference between the CNC machining definition and the CNC machine definition- one is a process and the other is a machine. A CNC machine is a programmable machine that is capable of autonomously performing the operations of CNC machining.

Subtractive manufacturing processes, such as CNC machining, are often presented in contrast to additive manufacturing processes, such as 3D printing, or formative manufacturing processes, such as liquid injection molding. While subtractive processes remove layers of material from the workpiece to produce custom shapes and designs, additive processes assemble layers of material to produce the desired form and formative processes deform and displace stock material into the desired shape. The automated nature of CNC machining enables the production of high precision and high accuracy, simple parts and cost-effectiveness when fulfilling one-off and medium-volume production runs. However, while CNC machining demonstrates certain advantages over other manufacturing processes, the degree of complexity and intricacy attainable for part design and the cost-effectiveness of producing complex parts is limited.

While each type of manufacturing process has its advantages and disadvantages, this article focuses on the CNC machining process, outlining the basics of the process, and the various components and tooling of the CNC machine (sometimes incorrectly known as a C and C machine). Additionally, this article explores various mechanical CNC machining operations and presents alternatives to the CNC machining process.

It is not difficult for us to see from this paper that What is CNC Machining andWhat are the parts of CNC machine are simply introduced. Now let's take a look at the pictures of some main parts of CNC machine

1 – CNC Lathe Bed

The tool turret travel over the cnc lathe bed, which is specially hardened so any kind of machining can't affect them.

2 – Chuck

CNC lathe machine chuck grips the component which are to be machined. Chuck itself has many parts. Jaws are mounted on the chuck to grip the part,

3– Headstock

Headstock of a cnc lathe machine have the main motor of cnc lathe machine which drives the main spindle. Chuck is mounted on this main spindle.

4 – Tailstock

Tailstock are mostly used to give an extra gripping force for component machining. For long components machining they provide extra force on the other end so machining process can complete smoothly. You can see in the above picture at the one end chuck is gripping the component and on the other end tailstock is providing the extra force.

5 – Tailstock Quill

Actually you move the whole tailstock forward or reverse, but in that way it is not used to grip the part, but tailstock is travelled to a point near the component and then it is set there, after that you actuate the tailstock quill which travel either with hydraulic pressure or pneumatic pressure to grip the component.

6 – Foot Switch or Foot Pedals

Foot switches are used to actual the chuck and tailstock quill. Through these pedals cnc machinist's open and close the chuck to grip the component, the same way tailstock quill is taken to forward position or reversed through theses pedals.

7 – CNC Control Panel

The brain of the cnc machine, all the cnc program are stored inside this panel, cnc machinists control the whole machine through the keys on this panel. CNC machinists stat/stop the machine move axis by pressing different keys on this panel.

They can enter new program by using this panel, programs can be transferred by using usb port on this panel as well. So this is the main part which controls the whole cnc machine.

8 – Tool Turret

The tool are mounted on the tool turret which are used for component machining. Tool turrets vary in shapes and number of tools that can be mounted on them.

Conclusion:

This article mainly tells the story of what is what are the parts of CNC machine tools and CNC machine tools and their physical figure, yijin solution you can see here very happy, if you like this article, I hope you can share this article to the people around you, if you want to buy the product, you can send mail, send to us your specific needs,We'd be happy to give you a realistic quotation, thank you
