Under conditions, cars should be stored in a dedicated garage. It should be parked in a cool and windy place at ordinary times, and long-term exposure to the sun should be avoided, because the ultraviolet rays in the sun are an important factor that causes the lacquer wax to age, crack, and lose gloss. If the above conditions are not met, more scientific nursing methods can also make up for the losses caused by insufficient conditions. On the surface paint of the front engine compartment cover of many cars, in the light or sunlight, it is easy to see countless fine scratches that extend outward with the light source as the center of the circle, some “zero” kilometers of cars. For example, new cars that have not yet been sold in exhibition venues, it is not difficult to see this phenomenon. The roof paint rarely has such fine scratches. This is not a natural factor, it is entirely caused by a human factor. The front engine compartment cover is the most easily noticeable part of people's vision. Therefore, most drivers and passengers will spend more time and energy on the engine compartment cover when washing the car and applying wax. The greater the damage to the paint film, the more serious it is, so it should be rinsed and wiped correctly.

(1) Washing: Vehicles that have been driven in the rain or on muddy roads should be washed with clean water as much as possible before the muddy water on the paint surface is dry. If you use a high-pressure cleaner, the water pressure should not be 5MPa, otherwise it will cause impact damage to the paint wax. If the vehicle is too dirty, you can choose a special car cleaning fluid made of non-ionic surfactants. Do not use washing powder and soap as a car cleaning agent, because such washing products may cause the lacquer wax to lose gloss, aggravate the aging of the sealing rubber strip, accelerate the peeling of the partial paint film and the rust and perforation of some metals.

(2) Wipe: When the washed vehicle needs to be wiped clean, or when it needs to be cleaned and wiped at the same time, a clean cotton cloth, towel or soft material should be selected. The method of wiping the car is extremely important. When wiping the car, you should not press down on the surface of the car too much. You should not wipe the waxed surface repeatedly or rotatingly. Wipe longitudinally from the front or rear of the car to the end. The advantage of this wiping method is that since the longitudinal thick lines of the car body itself are more pronounced, if there are occasional fine scratches, the trajectory is straight. The illusion produced by the poor vision of the human eye will make people only have a good impression of the overall appearance of the car. Assuming that when you can pull away those fine rotating scratches, the simple mathematical concept of “the shortest straight line distance between two points” has a deeper understanding.

(3) Brightening and cleaning: Brightening refers to the use of brightening emulsions, using products such as luminous emulsions to increase the smoothness of the surface of the lacquer wax to enhance the decorative effect. Such products are mainly divided into: polyethylene emulsion, silicone and other polymer materials. Because this type of material does not contain unsaturated fatty acids, it is easy to quickly generate polymer wax on the surface of the paint, which can cure the wax, play a cleaning role, and have the functions of anti-ultraviolet radiation, anti-acid, anti-alkali, and anti-corrosion.
